Itinerary

Arrive in Moshi, meet your guide, and attend a pre-trek briefing. Check your gear, rest, and enjoy your first night at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Machame Gate (1,800m) for registration. Begin your trek through the dense rainforest for 5–7 hours to Machame Camp. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Hike through heather and moorland zones, with expansive views of Mount Meru in the distance. Trek for 4–6 hours to reach Shira Plateau and overnight at Shira Camp.

A challenging but essential acclimatization day. Ascend to Lava Tower (4,630m), then descend to Barranco Camp. The "climb high, sleep low" strategy helps your body adjust to the altitude

Climb the scenic and dramatic Barranco Wall, then trek along rolling ridges and valleys to reach Karanga Camp. A shorter hiking day to help with acclimatization.

After breakfast, continue to Barafu Camp, your base camp before the summit. Arrive early, rest, eat, and prepare for your midnight summit push.

Begin your summit attempt at midnight, reaching Stella Point by sunrise and pushing onward to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After photos and celebration, descend to Mweka Camp for your final night on the mountain.

Finish your trek with a descent through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you’ll collect your summit certificate. Transfer back to Moshi for a well-deserved shower, rest, and overnight stay or airport transfer.
