Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure as you climb Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, via the Marangu Route—the only route with hut accommodations along the trail. Known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” Marangu is the most popular and one of the easier paths to the summit, with a gradual ascent and scenic views. Over 7 days, this tour allows for proper acclimatization, increasing your chances of reaching Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters.
Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania, where you’ll meet your mountain guide for a pre-climb briefing, equipment check, and overnight at a hotel. Rest and prepare for your trek starting the next day.
After breakfast, transfer to Marangu Gate (1,870m) where the adventure begins. Hike through lush rainforest to reach Mandara Hut (2,700m), a 4-5 hour trek. Dinner and overnight at the hut.
Ascend through heath and moorland zones, with views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Trek for 5–6 hours to reach Horombo Hut (3,720m), where you’ll have dinner and rest.
Spend the day at Horombo Hut for acclimatization. Take a short hike to Zebra Rocks (4,000m) and return to Horombo for lunch. This day helps your body adjust to the altitude.
Hike for 6–7 hours through the alpine desert to Kibo Hut (4,703m), located at the base of the summit. After an early dinner, rest and prepare for the midnight summit attempt.
Begin your summit attempt at midnight, climbing via Gilman’s Point (5,685m) to reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m)—the Roof of Africa! After celebrating, descend back to Horombo Hut for dinner and a well-earned sleep.
After breakfast, continue your descent through the rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you’ll receive your summit certificates. Drive back to Moshi for a hot shower, relaxation, and overnight stay—or transfer to the airport if departing.
Reserve your ideal trip early for a hassle-free trip; secure comfort and convenience!
