Highlights of the Tour
Itinerary
Depart Arusha after breakfast and head to Tarangire for a game drive among elephants, lions, and countless birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. Dinner and overnight at a campsite near Lake Manyara.
Travel toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Game drive en route and arrive in central Serengeti in time for an afternoon wildlife viewing. Overnight at Seronera campsite.
Spend the day tracking the Great Migration, depending on the season (either central, western corridor, or northern Serengeti). Enjoy wildlife encounters with zebras, wildebeests, lions, and more. Return to the camp for dinner.
Early morning game drive in the Serengeti. After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, stopping along the way for photo opportunities and picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite on the crater rim.
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Spot rhinos, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and possibly lions. Ascend the crater after lunch and transfer to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast, explore the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu or relax at the campsite. Drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. End of tour.
