Itinerary
Upon arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha city. This gives you the perfect opportunity to relax and prepare for your safari adventure ahead. Overnight Stay: Enjoy a restful overnight stay in Arusha to ensure you’re energized for the days to come.
After breakfast at 7:30 AM, begin your scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. The journey takes about 7 to 8 hours, passing through the Rift Valley with views of Ngorongoro Crater. Evening Game Drive: Arrive in Serengeti around 3:00 PM. Afterward, embark on an evening game drive, witnessing wildlife and capturing sunset views. Overnight Stay at Seronera Campsite: After the game drive, return to Seronera campsite for a dinner and overnight stay. Great Migration: During the safari, witness part of the Great Migration, where over 1.5 million wildebeest move in search of grazing areas.
Start early with a 5:45 AM breakfast before a morning game drive. Serengeti is home to giraffes, elephants, lions, and various bird species. Lunch at the Campsite: After the game drive, return to the campsite for lunch to recharge for the next leg of your journey. Exploring Serengeti Wildlife: Your guide will take you to the park’s renowned areas to experience abundant wildlife. Travel to Ngorongoro Crater: After lunch, enjoy a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at Simba campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the crater is home to the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes). Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater: During your game drive, encounter large concentrations of animals, including wildebeest, lions, and flamingos at Soda Lake. Lunch with a View: Enjoy a picnic lunch with stunning views of the crater. Return to Arusha: In the afternoon, return to Arusha. You’ll arrive in time for an overnight stay before departure.
