Itinerary
You’ll depart Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours), known for its high concentration of elephants and beautiful baobab trees. After registration, embark on a game drive to explore the park’s vast savannah, spotting wildlife like lions, giraffes, and buffaloes. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by more wildlife viewing before heading to your lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you’ll enter Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park famous for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and stunning lake views. Enjoy a half-day game drive through the groundwater forest and acacia woodland. After a packed lunch, continue with an optional cultural visit or head to your lodge in Karatu for an evening at leisure and dinner.
On your final day, have an early breakfast and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the crater for a full-day game drive. The crater floor hosts an abundance of wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, lions, and hippos. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari adventure.
