Itinerary
08:00 AM – Pick-up from Hotel: Start the day with a pick-up from your hotel. 09:00 AM – Departure from Fumba Village: Sail off from Fumba on a traditional wooden dhow, heading towards Menai Bay, a protected marine reserve known for its vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life. 10:00 AM – Snorkeling Session: Stop at two different snorkeling spots in the bay to explore the underwater world. Marvel at the stunning coral gardens and a variety of tropical fish. Snorkeling gear is provided.
11:30 AM – Sandbank Visit & Swimming: Sail to a pristine, secluded sandbank where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters, sunbathe, and relax. You’ll have time to enjoy the stunning 360-degree views of the Indian Ocean.
01:00 PM – Seafood BBQ Lunch: Continue sailing to Kwale Island for a sumptuous BBQ seafood lunch, featuring grilled fish, lobster, calamari, and more, along with tropical fruits. Vegetarian options are available upon request. 02:30 PM – Explore Kwale Island: After lunch, explore Kwale Island’s giant baobab tree and take a dip in the natural lagoon if the tide permits.
04:00 PM – Return Sail to Fumba: After an adventurous day, sail back to Fumba while enjoying the beautiful views of the coast. 05:00 PM – Transfer to Hotel: Return to your hotel, marking the end of a perfect day on the water.
