The Rongai Route is the only Kilimanjaro route that approaches the mountain from the north, near the Kenyan border. This route offers a more remote and quieter experience, with gradual ascents that make for easier acclimatization. It’s known for its unspoiled wilderness and is ideal for trekkers looking for a less crowded path to the summit. After completing the climb, you’ll have the opportunity to unwind with a 2-day safari through Lake Manyara National Park and Tarangire National Park.
